Our support team may collect information required by our system to provide the support service through our support channels:  The Help Centers (the subdomains under, via Facebook messages, or direct emails we’re receiving from users. Each of these scenarios are being described below:

Help Center login using the Envato account

Each of our products has its own Help Center on a subdomain (e.g. where users can login using their Envato Market account.


Access to the support service is made available to paying customers only. Since all of our services are sold through the Envato Market, signing in using your Envato Market account allows us to validate your Envato Market purchase in order to provide the support service.

What information is being collected?

Your Envato Market account username; Your email address; Your public Envato Market profile; First/Last name; List of your Envato Market purchases where the author is GetBowtied.


Before using the Envato account to sign in into the Help Center, users are prompted with a splash page asking for permission to access this information, with an overview of data that will / won’t be collected: view a sample screenshot.

Where is this data stored

We’re using Zendesk as the platform for support services. Zendesk is a support and contact request management service provided by Zendesk Inc. Personal Data collected: various types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service. Place of processing: US – Privacy Policy.

What information is being collected?

Providing the Customer Support service for our products as per Envato Market’s Item Support Policy, we may have to ask for additional information such as the link to your site and temporary access to the administration panel.  

When submitting a support request through the support form available on the Help Center you can optionally fill in this information. The same thing applies to support requests sent through direct email or Facebook messages via our company’s page.


Our support agents or developers (Get Bowtied’s employees or contractors) will use this information in order to provide the support services.

For example, you may reach out to the support team to ask for help installing or setting up the theme on your site after running into an issue. A support agent will access your site in order to figure out how to provide the technical help requested.


We imply that we have the consent to any information provided since it’s voluntarily provided for the purpose of providing the Customer Support service.

Retention of Data

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes.
